We offer an excellent and very popular wedding package at a highly competitive £375.
 
We ask for a deposit of £300, payable when the booking is confirmed and fully refundable with 28 days of the booking, provided that there has been no damage to the hall or its contents.
 
Exclusive use of the main hall, the Constable Room and the kitchen are included in the wedding package.
 
Access - is given from 12 noon the day before until 12 noon the day after the wedding reception. Obviously, if it’s possible – other bookings permitting – to give you more time to set up and clear away, we certainly will!
 
The key is left in the key safe (the code will be given shortly before the event) and remains the responsibility of the named hirer for the entire period of hire.
 
Planning - you are welcome to see the hall as often as you need to before you wedding to run a dummy set-up, measure tables etc – ask us.
 
Facilities - The hall is well equipped. It has a good-sized kitchen with a tea urn and a large oven. You will find almost everything you need for self-catering if you decide to do-it-yourself.
 
The hall has recently been redecorated in fresh, modern colours to tone with most bridal colour schemes.

A bottle cooler is also available - useful for champagne! Hire for just £15.
 
The Constable Room - is our conference room and for weddings it becomes the Bride’s Room. It is a secure place to store wedding presents, it can double as a children’s room for videos etc (please protect the tables!) or it can become a quiet space for the bride or older guests who need some peace. The comfortable chairs may be taken into the hall if required.
 
Alcohol - you may run a bar in the hall, but you must apply for a Temporary Events Notice (TEN) if you intend to sell alcohol, or apply to use one of the Hall's TENS licences for £15 - please enquire when booking. Ask us about the best ways to set up a bar in the hall – we have had lots of experience!
 
Parking - we have space for 40-45 cars in the car park in front of the hall.
 
Children’s Play Area - there is a small, safe play area next to the hall with swings and slides for younger children.
 
Use of the Village Field - The field is a lovely outside-space for children to play in or for games to be played – or just for a breath of air. The small wooden gazebo may be decorated and is lovely for photos.
 
Bouncy Castles, Marquees, BBQs, Hog Roast etc are usually allowable (the field is held in Trust for the village by the Parish Council, and we ask you to contact them to discuss the use of the field for any of the above).
